Buttermere Valley from Haystacks
Painted in Watercolour
Fleetwith Pike Buttermere
Painted in Watercolour
Back to Basics, there is nothing wrong with a bit of practice time or trying out different techniques.
I often tell my online students, have a play on a smaller piece of paper, 5 x 7 inches is a great size and if they work out well, they make great personal cards.
Here are two that I painted this weekend, I like them both , but particularly the top painting from Fleetwith pike looking down the Buttermere valley.
I quite fancy having a go on a larger scale, adding the heather and rocks at the end really pulled it together.
I find painting a great release from this mad world, and can loose myself for a few hours.
Quite often at the end of the session, I usually feel inspired and motivated once again.
If you're feeling the need of a bit of motivation and inspiration over the next few months, why not take up the online watercolor course.
From £55 which is around $74
If you fancy learning some English watercolour skills here's a link to more infomation
or just drop me a email if you would like to discuss the course.
Happy painting and lets keep inspired this Autumn.
