There's nothing quite like painting outside, after a few weeks of relentless rain, it's such a wonderful feeling to get out and do some sketching. Needing only a few bits of equipment a pen or pencil and sketch book and your free to work anywhere, I spent a few hours on my favourite walk around Derwentwater stopping occasionally and capturing what inspired me, luckily my companion the 'duck' was not to critical.
