Creatively Explore

It was John Ruskin that gave me the idea of the Online Watercolour Course , I read his book 'The elements of Drawing' he had started a correspondence course on the art of drawing skills, for a few weeks students were encouraged to sketch a box and fill it in with even sketch marks.

My correspondence courses are a little different, we paint beautiful watercolours landscapes following step by step pdf and a video full demonstration. It's taken at a relaxing and gentle approach, in this mad world I think we all need a bit of quiet time to ponder and creatively explore.

With six projects in each course all including personal feedback to help to point you in an inspiring direction. Course one is ideal for beginners , with Course two leading on with Ullswater Daffodils been the first project and here's a video to show what else is included on Course Two

The cost of the course is £80 and can be taken worldwide as long as you have a good understanding of Yorkshire dialect !!! Only joking

 £80.00

Whitby to Sandsend beach walk

 Seascape in Soft Pastel

We had a wonderful walk along the beach yesterday from Whitby to Sandsend. It was perfect for studying the waves and the beach, the clear Blue sky and bright light in the Sea. A coffee and great Cheese scone at Sandcafe and a wander round the pretty cottages and gardens. I couldn't resist picking a  few pebbles and I feel full of inspiration to get the Soft pastels out.

My soft pastel online course includes the Seascape above along with five other landscape scenes all with video step by step and each one comes with Personal feedback for extra hints and tips.

If you fancy getting the soft Pastels back in action, this could be the perfect push that you need.

Here's a few more details

Enjoying the sunshine and great Cappuccino at Sand cafe, Sandsend.
