Online watercolour course set in the English Lake District.

Is there a better present than giving someone the gift to paint. My online courses do just that, with step by step instructions, video demonstration and personal feedback.

If you're stuck for ideas on what to buy this Christmas, why not The Gift to paint.

For those who fancy painting the English Lake District, this course is for you, and it can be taken not on a Cumbrian fell side but in the comfort of your home, no matter where you are.

Hydrangea Watercolour

Hydrangea

I watch my Hydrangea grow throughout the year.

From tiny buds, that strong Green leaves appear.

 Balloons of Tiny delicate flowers.

Drooping in weight,

refusing to be held in upright standing position.

But everlasting to the end

A rainbow of muted hues.

Even when life is no longer flowing

They gave beauty to the admirer.

Painted in Watercolours

Size 12 x 15 inches approx including Ivory Mount

£80.00

Mindful watercolour painting :Lilacs

What better feeling to pick a couple of Lilacs in flower

Sit and look at the flowers

Close your eyes and imagine the shapes
Take in the scent, bring back memories or just imagine a warm sunny day.

Try out a few colours in your palette
Cobalt Violet was one of mine

Look at the flowers take in the smells and just let the brush loaded with paint
Make a few shapes, lifting on and off the paper.

Step back and look at the beauty of the flower and paint a few more shapes with a stronger hue

Enjoy the moment.

The rough and forgotten circuit of Thirlmere

Hidden gems amongst an old rooted path

Delights of nature around every bay
