Pastures New

Life has been a bit mad since I last sat with you and wrote a blog.
Nigel and I have always dreamed of running a Bed and Breakfast in the Lakes.
And our dream came true in May this year.
It didn't happen overnight, I think the dream started a good Eighteen years ago.
But here I am typing at Clarence House in Keswick a lovely Victorian Guest house, that we never in our wildest dreams thought we would be running and living in.

Room Three King Size Ensuite

The first months were a blur, getting everything organised and painting certainly took a back step.
Now Life is starting to get in a happy and organised routine.

The walls are full of paintings, the views from the windows make me stop and stare at the forever changing landscape and what a joy to be able to walk to the lake if we want each day.

Oh and I forgot to mention I have a art room and painting is back on track and just as enjoyable.

Room Five a double en suite with views of Blencathra

Room Six a lovely sized double en suite.

If you fancy coming and staying here is the website

I just found your blog through Julie Ford Oliver's blog. Your art is beautiful. Love the Bluebells. Your B&B looks so wonderful. If I ever travel across the pond would love to stay there. Take care and have a delightful weekend. Will be back to visit again soon.
